My friend Crissy St. Pierre runs an online oddities shop. Part of what she does is to go looking for oddities in nature. On one of her expeditions, she and her husband ran across the remains of an old barn. All around the perimeter of the barn were piles of old animal bones. They heard some movement in the brush, and when they turned to look, they saw what appeared to be the shadow of a coyote on two feet. They were never sure if that was what happened to the family that used to live there, or perhaps what the family had actually become. Was it a Chupacabra? The Michigan Dogman? A werecoyote? They didn't stick around to find out.

I've seen some animals walking on hind legs because of damaged front legs. It's absolutely wild to see. Amazing how they can adapt, but definitely the origin of some cryptid stories for sure!
