Butterscotch Haystacks have long been a favorite of mine... in fact... I love pretty much anything butterscotch. This recipe is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that won't break the bank or your brain!
Recipe: Butterscotch Haystacks
Ingredients:
12 ounces white melting chocolate (disks preferred over chips)
12 ounces butterscotch chips
1 cup peanut butter (smooth)
12 ounces chow mein noodles
1 cup Spanish peanuts salted and roasted (optional)
Steps:
1. Melt white chocolate and butterscotch chips together in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add peanut butter.
3. Add peanuts (optional).
4. Fold in chow mein noodles.
5. Scoop mixture onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
6. Let sit until completely cooled and hardened (about 1 hour at room temperature 10 minutes in the refrigerator)
7. Enjoy!
